About Weir.
A 1200 mm round top on a crossed lyre base. The two curved legs cross at the centre and splay outward, holding the support well inside the perimeter. Nobody straddles a leg, and a fifth chair can be pulled up without negotiation.
Four generously, five when it needs to. Round suits a room people move through rather than sit at the ends of, and answers the apartment where a rectangular table would fix the circulation route. 750 mm high, so every chair in the collection meets it.
Solid ash in walnut finish, the top made up from selected boards so the grain runs continuously across the surface. In stock.

How many fit a 1200 mm round table?
Four comfortably, five at a push. For six, Ford at 1600 mm or Weir Long at 2000 mm.
How much room does it need?
Roughly 900 mm clear on every side for chairs and passage. A room of about 3 by 3 m as a minimum.
