About Gyre.
The piece the collection is named for. Two rings of steam-bent ash interlace beneath the top and land on a single polished steel foot, so the table appears to turn while standing still. Each ring is bent as one continuous length — not segmented from short curved offcuts — which is what lets the loop read as a true circle from every angle.
The 1200 mm top seats four to five. The base is central and nothing stands in anyone's way. In a small dining room where chairs move constantly, a pedestal is easier to live with than four corner legs.
Solid ash in walnut finish on a polished steel foot. 750 mm high. Held in stock.
Questions
Is a pedestal stable at 1200 mm?
The steel foot is weighted and the ring geometry carries the load outward. The table holds when weight is put on the edge.
