Brushed Metal & Leather Bar Carts
Tiered carts in brushed metal and bound leather.
The bar carts are the one place the collection leaves wood behind. Drift is three tiers in brushed brass; Tide is two in brushed steel. In both, every tray is bound in leather at the edge — tan on Drift, olive on Tide — so glass and bottles sit against leather rather than metal. It is quieter in use, and it is the detail that keeps a bar cart from reading as a hotel service trolley.
Choosing a piece.
Brushed rather than polished is a deliberate choice. Polished brass shows every fingerprint and eventually clouds; brushed brass hides handling and warms in tone over the years, which is the point of using brass at all. Brushed steel behaves the same way in a cooler register and needs nothing beyond a wipe.
Choose by room and by use. Drift's three tiers give the working order a cart that is actually used needs — bottles low, glassware in the middle, service on top — and its warmth suits a room that already has wood and leather in it. Tide is shorter and cooler, for a smaller space or a room that already has warm metal, where a three-tier cart would be too much furniture.
Both are made by hand, with dimensions on request. Height and tier spacing can be redrawn for a project. In stock and ready to ship, or made to your space.
