Solid Ash & Leather Lounge Chairs
Steam-bent solid ash lounge chairs with leather seats, each arm drawn from one continuous line. In stock or made to your space — Delhi NCR.
The lounge pieces are where the frame is most visible, so they are where the making shows. On Heron, the arm and the front leg are one piece of ash: the line leaves the floor, turns through the arm and carries back into the frame without a joint at the elbow. That is a single steam-bending operation with the grain running the length of the curve, and it is the reason the chair reads as one gesture rather than as parts assembled.
Choosing a piece.
Heron comes in two leathers, and the choice is practical as much as visual. Bone is pale and warm and separates clearly from the walnut-finished ash — a light in a dark room. It also marks visibly, and those marks stay as patina rather than lifting out. Amber sits close in tone to the frame, so chair and leather read as one material, and it takes daily use without recording every incident. For hotel, restaurant and other contract projects, amber is the sensible specification.
Cove is the other form in this group: a looped ash frame that folds from an upholstered seat at one end into an open shelf at the other. At 1800 × 500 mm it belongs against a wall — an entrance hall, a landing, the foot of a bed — where it does the work of a bench and a console without looking like either. Ivory and olive leather, with the shelf in solid ash so it will carry books rather than only objects.
All frames are solid ash, hand-finished with the open grain left legible under the polish. Leathers beyond the stocked options, and bouclé, can be specified for a project. In stock and ready to ship, or made to your space in the finish, leather and form you choose.
