About Gyre.
Two interlaced ring-bases, each a continuous length of steam-bent ash, carrying a 2000 mm top. The rings are set inboard and turned against one another, so the base changes as you cross the room while the top stays perfectly still.
2000 by 1000 mm seats eight. The ends are left clear, and the width takes serving down the centre without crowding settings. This is the table for a room where the dining area is the room.
Solid ash throughout in walnut finish, top made up from selected boards with the grain run along the length. 750 mm high. In stock, or made to your room.
Questions
How many chairs fit Gyre Long?
Eight as standard — three each side, one at each head. Ten with the narrower Current chair at 460 mm.
Do the ring bases obstruct legs?
They sit inboard of the ends and open at the centre. Head seats are clear; side seats sit between the rings.
